About Me

I understand that every individual is on their own unique journey, and therefore I strive to meet each client where they currently are at, working collaboratively to develop strategies to move toward their individual goals.
I have my Master of Social Work and am a Registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers. I have been a social worker for over 20 years, I believe that everyone has the capacity to make impactful changes in their lives and that we are all inherently good, striving intuitively for the best in ourselves and our loved ones.
I apply a Strength-Based Trauma-Informed lens when supporting individuals as they navigate their journey through change, this means I can assist you in finding your strengths to facilitate healing and build on the pathways to resilience.
I have experience working with couples and families, adults, children and adolescents, while they work to develop and incorporate lasting and meaningful change in their lives.
I have an eclectic approach to therapy, utilizing my broad experience and education to draw upon a variety of modalities, and applying the most relevant approach depending on each specific situation. These modalities include but are not limited to: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
